Eshu as a little boy was the most active kid around in the entire society; he was often compared to Dennis the menace. With the passage of time, everything grew for Eshu, his intelligence, his wit, his sense of humour, grades in colleges, career and undoubtedly package at office but also his girth. He often termed the flesh around his waist as having the whole crate and not just six packs.
Eshu, down the line realised that his calling was not a 9 to 5 routine, and thus building upon his rocksolid strength of being witty he took up Stand-up Comedy. All that years of scripting, rehearsing and painful rejections seems to be paying off now. He had a brilliant show today at the India’s most recognised laughter club at Bandra, the audience was in splits and could not help asking for more.
It was a late night wind up, and Eshuhad 11 .AM flight to Hyderabad for yet another corporate show, hurriedly he started from the hotel at 6:30 AM provisioning for thetraffic and other unexpected delay. Once he reached the airport, he felt he was too tired to walk the distance and take care of the routine checks. He did not expect the airline to come his rescue, he knew the end result “extremely sorry sir we are helpless”. He looked around and laughed the size that has been the base for laughter in his many shows.
Eshu suddenly felt it was his day finally as he spotted the Airport Kruz kiosk between 7 & 8 departure gate at the T2 CSIA ( Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport) Mumbai, he slowly advanced up to it, made an enquiry, paid the dues, to his delight the staff was educated, well groomed & helpful, within minutes everything was arranged. And the best part was the staffsaying, “We love to serve our guests”. Eshu thought it would be just a statement that all service providers make. But asAIRPORT KRUZ took over, his travel through the airport was a joyride, help at every possible step, smiling faces, courteous service and above all pride in serving. He soon realised how comfortable “Airport Kruz” was for the attendant who otherwise would be exhausted pushing a guest of his size. Now he was very sure that the attendant meant every word when he said “we love to serve our guests”.
